Growing up in the hills of central Washington, surrounded by the Cascade Mountains and the vast Columbia River, I was immersed in a love for the outdoors from a young age. Skiing, hiking, climbing, whitewater kayaking, and long summer days on the rivers of the PNW weren’t just activities, they were the way of a life shaped by this landscape. 

From an early age, I noticed the brands and gear my parents valued. They’d pull out a once revolutionary backpack, a trusted tent, or a pair of well-loved skis and share stories of the adventures those items had been a part of. Those moments stuck with me. In my own way, I now design for the story.

To me, great gear is more than simply functional; it’s durable enough to accompany countless adventures, meaningful enough to hold memories, and designed with an intention of beauty to feel worthy of the stories it helps create. That’s what drives my passion as a designer: creating products that last, connect, and inspire.
